40th Breakfast Meeting “General Practitioner: Current situation and future prospects in Japan”
date : 11/12/2012
Japan, as a country with a rapidly aging society, has seen growing attention being paid to family medicine as a means for solving the varying medical problems associated with aging and supporting the entire community.
To discuss the ways in which family medicine can address community medical needs, we are pleased to receive a talk from Dr. Kassai. Dr. Kassai is Japan’s doyen of family medicine, and will speak about the current situation of family medicine in Japan, together with case examples from overseas.
Following on from this, we then hope to deepen the discussion surrounding the future family medicine system and how new human resources for this area should be developed.
Anyone with an interest in family medicine or who is considering a future in this field, please do participate in this discussion.
