HGPI ranked in the top 10 think tanks worldwide in the field of health policy

For the second straight year, the Institute has been ranked in the top 10 think tanks worldwide in the field of health policy, according to the “2010 Global Go-To Think Tank Rankings” announced by the University of Pennsylvania in January 2011. Among such leading American organizations as The Brookings Institution (ranked 1st), RAND Corporation (2nd), and the Bloomberg School of Public Health Research Centers at Johns Hopkins University (3rd), the Institute was ranked 10th and was the leading representative from Asia.
The survey was started by Dr. James G. McGann, Director of the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program at the University of Pennsylvania, and is based on research conducted by around 1,500 scholars, policymakers, journalists and regional experts around the world. The 2010 Rankings present the results of the fourth such survey, with a total of 6,480 organizations from 169 countries being assessed.
