On January 19, 2025, Mr. Kai Shigeno, Senior Associate of Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI), will give a lecture for FY2024 titled “Project for Supporting Independence of Children with Chronic Specified Diseases” Holding exchange meetings Series 4 “Let’s think about Disaster preparedness for Emergency Situation”
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government provides consultation services to children with chronic diseases and their families, necessary information and advice and also collaborates with related organizations and services to promote the sound upbringing of self-reliance children who require long-term medical treatment due to chronic illness.
In addition, they also implement “Services for Supporting Self-Support for Children with Chronic Diseases”. Holding exchange meetings are entrusted to the authorized NPO National Network for Supporting Children with Intractable Diseases.
