[Lecture Report] The “Efforts in the UK and Japan for Age- and Dementia-friendly Design” Online Seminar (UK-Japan Network, October 29, 2020)

The UK-Japan Network hosted an online seminar entitled, “Efforts in the UK and Japan for Age- and Dementia-friendly Design.” Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI) Board Member and CEO Mr. Ryoji Noritake participated in the seminar as moderator of the panel discussion.

This joint UK-Japan research project is hosted by University of Stirling’s Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC), which is currently working to develop and disseminate guidelines for dementia-friendly design. To explore the theme of dementia from a broad perspective, project participants include representatives of academia from fields such as medicine, architecture, sociology, and informatics, as well as researchers from the business sector, think tanks, and other such organizations from both the UK and Japan.

The seminar can be viewed on YouTube at the following link. (The seminar is only viewable in Japanese.)
