HGPI COO Ms. Kanae Nishimura and Manager Mr. Matt McEnany participated in Asia-Pacific Think Tank Summit in Bangkok from November 10 to November 12, 2019.
This summit is held once a year and brings together think tank executives and scholars from across the Asia-Pacific region for debate on the issues facing think tanks today.
Mr. McEnany spoke on a panel for a session related to think tank management, “New Sources and Strategies for Funding Think Tanks.” Mr. McEnany spoke about HGPI’s belief in the importance of its status as an independently funded think tank, and how that belief impacts HGPI’s funding strategy.
