Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI) Senior Manager Mr. Shunichiro Kurita visited the Tokyo Women’s Medical University School of Nursing as a guest speaker, where he gave a lecture as part of practical training on integrated nursing.
Speaking from the perspective of a participant in policy formulation, Mr. Kurita gave a systematic lecture on policy process theory, which is necessary for understanding the healthcare system. He also covered topics like recent developments in social security. The lecture was followed by a lively question and answer session in which many students asked questions in which they linked health policy and insights obtained during their practical training in clinical settings.
