Mr. Ryoji Noritake, CEO and Board Member of Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI), spoke at the Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week (ADGHW), hosted by the Government of Abu Dhabi in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), May 13-15.
Mr. Noritake participated in a panel discussion on “The Importance of Acting Early on NCDs for Health System Sustainability and Resilience” and gave a presentation. The ADGHW, which was attended by health ministers, industry leaders and civil society leaders from various countries, provided a space to share views from different perspectives on the ideal healthcare system in the midst of new technologies such as AI and the increasing personalization of medical care.
This panel discussion was also part of the PHSSR 3rd Summit. PHSSR stands for “Partnership for Health System Sustainability and Resilience” and is a global project jointly organized by the London School of Economics (LSE), the World Economic Forum (WEF), and industry. PHSSR aims to build more sustainable and resilient health systems and has published 26 reports worldwide. In Japan, PHSSR has collaborated with Keio University to produce the report of Japan, which contributes to improving the sustainability and resilience of the health systems.
