Mr. Shunichiro Kurita, Senior Manager at Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI), lectured as a guest lecturer at the “Social Medicine Practice” workshop hosted by Akita University Graduate School of Medicine and Faculty.
In his lecture titled “Current Situation of Dementia Policy and the Role of Think Tanks,” Mr. Kurita presented the issues surrounding dementia policies, the advocacy for the Dementia Basic Act from a public administration perspective, described the roles of think tanks in addressing policy issues and their day-to-day activities while introducing case studies.
