[Event Report] The 7th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Nurse Practitioners: Examining the True Value of Nurse Practitioners and Creating New Value (November 20, 2021)

Eri Yoshimura, Senior Manager at Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI), participated at the 7th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Nurse Practitioners as a panelist in a session entitled, “Strategic Thinking and Policy Recommendations for Nurse Practitioners—Paving the Way as Nurse Practitioners / Strategic Consideration of the Present and Future of Nurse Practitioners.”

Ms. Yoshimura’s remarks were based on research compiled by NCD Alliance Japan (operated by HGPI) entitled, “Survey on Optimizing the Roles and Work Styles of Japan’s Healthcare Workforce in the Field of Non-Communicable Diseases,” which was published in February 2021. She presented evidence-based information on the potential for nurse practitioners and those who have completed specialized training to work in various health care settings and communities.
