* This event will be held in Japanese only.
The curtailment of medical expenses, the heated discussion on the separation of medicine prescription and dispensation, and the issues of unused medicines and duplicate prescriptions are rising social problems today in Japan. The government had announced to raise the share of generic drug prescriptions to more than80% by fiscal 2020. Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare will establish the Pharmaceutical Vision by end of year 2015 and revise dispensing fee system in 2016. Now is the time to reconsider the meaning of a pharmacists’ existence.
At this forum, we will be discussing from a private sector perspective on the role that family care pharmacists should play in the narrative of community-based care efforts, promotion of group healthcare and information sharing technology.
We look forward to your participation.
