The Director-General of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health, Kyrgyz Medical Association Chairperson, and Kyrgyz Hospital Director visited Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI). The delegation came to Japan for the JICA project, “Project for Strengthening Pilot Referral System for Early Detection and Treatment of Non-Communicable Diseases.”

Ryoji Noritake, CEO, Board Member, gave a presentation entitled “Paradigm Shift in Healthcare in Japan and Beyond,” explained how Japan is responding to the challenges of aging and non-communicable diseases as a policy matter and how various aspects of healthcare and systems in other countries are being compared internationally and exchanged ideas with the participants.
