We are pleased to announce that on January 17th 2019 HGPI received the opportunity to join as a full member of the NCD Alliance, a civil society platform that has expanded to around 170 countries. To confront the cross-cutting policy issues in NCDs, HGPI will continue to address the importance of civil society in local and global NCDs advocacy by promoting open dialogue between multi-stakeholders working across and within the NCD community.
HGPI has been holding a series of global forums and workshops for patient leaders of lived experience since 2018. Spanning various NCD therapeutic areas, these sessions aim to crystalize policy issues from the perspectives of people living with and affected by NCDs and to propose necessary policies.
