On June 30, 2023, Mr. Joji Sugawara, Vice President of Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI), delivered a virtual presentation on the topic of planetary health titled “Building Communities: Harnessing Grassroots Movements for Climate Change and Health -Lessons from Japan’s Planetary Health Project-” and shared HGPI’s initiatives. The presentation took place at the 2nd ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) Workshop on Health Security titled “COVID-19 and Beyond: Maintaining Momentum for the Next Global Health Emergency” held at Ottawa, Canada on June 30, 2023.
