On July 10, 2021, Nikkei Asia published an editorial by Mr. Michael W. Hodin, CEO of the Global Coalition on Aging (GCOA), that was written in collaboration with Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI) – “Japan should follow US efforts to develop new antibiotics.” The editorial discusses the “PASTEUR Act” being proposed in the United States and advocates for greater policy action on the issue of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
