Ryoji Noritake, HGPI president, was the moderator for the symposium “Amidst the ever changing landscape of health ICT~ achieving sustainability in the realization of comprehensive health care system” held by the embassy of the Netherlands in collaboration with the Netherlands’ health ministers and delegates’ visit to Japan.
Similar to Japan, the Netherlands is also cooperating with its government and people to build health system infrastructure, standardize data and formulate guidelines and to create a platform that allows heated discussions from multi-stakeholders.
In this symposium, an expert from the Netherlands talked about Health ICT promotion and strategies in the Netherlands. Relevant personnel and experts from Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare, Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry, and Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications introduced Japan’s efforts and strategies followed by lively panel discussions.
