Good health policy is essential for better healthcare to be implemented in society, and every year at the beginning of March, Health Policy Institute, Japan hosts a “Health Policy Clerkship” for medical students. Prospective candidates capable of understanding the policy agenda encompassing healthcare, including health finance, health security, health education, and healthcare costs, and with the leadership to present breakthroughs to society, are sought in the medical community. We look forward to welcoming candidates who are willing to broaden their perspectives, acquire problem-solving techniques, and interact with decision-makers to expand their array of choices for their future career.
