Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI) held the Second Advisory Board Meeting on “Sharing Best Practices in CVD Control from Local Communities for National Health Equity.” In accordance with Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID–19) control measures, the meeting was held entirely online and was not open to the public.
At this meeting, opinion leaders and stakeholders in the field of CVDs from industry, Government, academia, and civil society shared and discussed specific measures and perspectives necessary for CVD policy based on items raised at our first advisory board meeting (held on September 29, 2021) and at our global expert meeting (held on December 8, 2021). Topics of the discussion included promoting CVD prevention, improving the healthcare delivery system, establishing a system for sharing health and medical information, promoting research, and improving the system for supporting CVD patients and other affected parties.
