[Event report] NCD Alliance Japan Hosts First Advisory Board Meeting of the Platform Project for Patient and Public Involvement (November 9, 2021)

On November 9, 2021, NCD Alliance Japan (Secretariat: Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI)) held the first advisory board meeting of the Platform Project for Patient and Public Involvement.
At the meeting, we deepened the discussion on issues that may be encountered when promoting Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) in policy making forums based on the results of preliminary hearings conducted with patients, other healthcare beneficiaries, and experts.
To prevent the potential spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), this meeting was held remotely over an online conferencing system.
