On July 30th, HGPI CEO and Board Member Mr. Ryoji Noritake moderated a webinar in the EU-Japan Webinar Series on COVID-19 entitled “Webinar N5. COVID-19 & Public Health Systems,” hosted by the Support Facility for the Implementation of the EU-Japan Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA).
This webinar was held in Japanese and English with simultaneous interpretation. The entire event has been released on YouTube.
The EU and Japan are committed to addressing cross-border health problems through cooperative efforts for disease prevention and control. In the context of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, measures to strengthen and reorganize public health services have been implemented in both regions. During the webinar, experts from Europe and Japan analyzed the impact of COVID-19 on the public health sector, examining topics such as budget and policy responses, trends, and projections.
