At Nagoya, the symposium “How to Build up Dementia Friendly Community” was held, sponsored by Global status quo on dementia supporters toward community development friendly to the elderly with dementia, and the international expansion of supporter program.

This symposium was held as part of Global status quo on dementia supporters toward community development friendly to the elderly with dementia, and the international expansion of supporter program.

At plenary lecture, Kiyoshi Kurokawa, HGPI Chairman, delivered a lecture titled, “Role of PPP in Global Dementia Wave”. As commissioned by Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED), Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI) is investigating models for Public Private Partnerships (PPP) focused on dementia research, in the aim of identifying the best possible PPP models for Japan, as well as the possibility of putting such models into practice in the rest of Asia and the world. And HGPI is collaborating with World Dementia Council for the research.
