Official side event for World Assembly for Women WAW! 2016 Shine Weeks ‘International Symposium on Women’s Health’ was held by Tokyo University at Tokyo University hall.
As momentum surrounding women in the workforce continues to grow, special attention to key health aspects that are essential to supporting women’s entrance into and sustained participation in the workforce is needed. In this symposium, topics including the importance of women’s health on economic growth, issues surrounding women’s health, and best practice to promote women’s health were discussed. Mariko Oyamada, HGPI Vice President, was scheduled to participate as a panelist.
