Workshop: Local Health Planning for Local Health Planners

On May 24, 2011, HGPI held a workshop on “Local Health Planning for Local Health Planners” for prefectural governmental officers, co-hosted with McKinsey & Company. With revision of prefectural local health planning fast approaching, various needs in each prefecture were discussed, including stakeholder management, payer empowerment, quantitative health policy analysis, and shortage of healthcare providers. Officers from four prefectures joined the workshop. HGPI will continue to provide forums, information, and other resources for better local health planning.
