[Event Report] HGPI-IHJ Idea Exchange Session (August 22, 2025)

On August 22, 2025, Mr. Ryoji Noritake, Chair of Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI), and Dr. Kiyoshi Kurokawa, Board Member and Lifetime Honorary Chairman, visited the International House of Japan (IHJ) and held an idea exchange session with the IHJ leadership team.
Representing the International House of Japan were Mr. James Kondo (Chairman of the Board), Professor Ken Jimbo (Managing Director (Representative Director)), and Mr. Atsushi Horikawa (Director/Chief Operating Officer).
Also present was Dr. Shinsuke Muto, Vice Chair of HGPI, who also serves as Trustee at the International House of Japan.
During the exchange, discussions deepened on topics such as global and domestic health policies, the potential for strengthening and consolidating think tank functions in Japan, and the necessity of cultural and people-to-people exchanges. The discussion reached an agreement to build further cooperative relationships to advance these topics.
