[Event Report] Kidney Disease Control Promotion Project Public Symposium “Establishing Kidney Disease Control Measures with Patient, Citizen, and Community Engagement and Collaboration” (August 28, 2024)

Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI) held a public symposium titled “ Establishing Kidney Disease Control Measures with Patient, Citizen, and Community Engagement and Collaboration” on Wednesday, August 28, 2024; the report from this symposium is now being released. 

HGPI’s kidney disease control promotion project, which is now in its third year as of 2024, held this symposium in collaboration with Japan Kidney Association with the purpose of broadly disseminating to society the content of discussions including best practices, challenges, and solutions obtained through our activities to date. In 2025, HGPI will continue to promote the multi-sectoral (industry-government-academia-public) collaboration and citizen-centered policy development and advancement toward the next steps in patient- and citizen-led CKD measures and their realization.
