Professor Ataru Igarashi is a Project Associate Professor at Keio Business School. After graduating from the University of Tokyo Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2002 and completing the doctoral course at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2008, he was appointed Assistant Professor and Project Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences that same year. He joined the Yokohama City University faculty in 2019, holding appointments as Associate Professor of the School of Medicine’s Unit of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and as Visiting Associate Professor of the Graduate School of Data Science. In 2024, he was appointed Project Associate Professor at the Department of Health Policy and Public Health at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He assumed his current position in 2026.
