An article about the special seminar titled “Rising to New Challenges in Health Sciences for Future Society: Novel Developments in the Field of Epilepsy in Japan and Globally”, hosted by Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI), which was held on September 18, 2025, at the Belgium Pavilion at World Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, was featured in The Nikkei.
This seminar was grounded on the voices of people with lived experience, while incorporating insight from experts and policymakers, to create a discussion-centered forum on the future of neurological disorder treatment. Through this, it aimed to deepen public understanding of epilepsy and other neurological disorders and contribute to the development of better treatment.
