Ryoji Noritake, Director of this Institute, recently participated in the Health Care Round Table 2011 hosted at the Embassy of the Netherlands, giving a presentation on health policy issues in countries including Japan, the Netherlands and the United States. The event was attended by individuals from the areas of nursing, medicine, health policy, academia and business, and there was a proactive exchange of opinions on topics such as the need for a new Japanese model to deal with the growing aging society and the future medical support that should be provided in the disaster areas.
