Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI) is supporting youth Engagement Seminar on Antimicrobial Resistance – lessons from global perspective by Dame Sally Davies, UK Special Envoy on AMR – which is scheduled to be held on Monday, 27 February 2023 and co-hosted by British Embassy Tokyo, City of Himeji and Himeji Red Cross Hospital.
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) has been increasing both domestically and internationally, and the annual number of deaths due to AMR infections is projected to increase to about 10 million people globally by 2050. This seminar aims to provide youth researchers and medical/pharmaceutical university students an opportunity to engage and learn about issues of AMR from Dame Sally Davies, Special Envoy for AMR in the UK.
