Kanagawa Medical Innovation School: Evening Seminar
– Global Health Experts to Lead Health Innovations –

Evening Seminar for the New School of Public Health
“Kanagawa Medical Innovation School”, expected to be established in 2019

We are pleased to invite you to the Kanagawa Medical Innovation School Evening Seminar convened jointly by Kanagawa Prefectural Government & Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI) on Thursday, March 16th, 2017.

Kanagawa Prefectural Government is in the process of establishing a new School of Public Health, the “Kanagawa Medical Innovation School (MIS)”, at the Kanagawa University of Human Services in 2019. The MIS aims to foster new global health experts who will transform healthcare technology and systems through innovative solutions and realise the concepts captured in the Healthcare New Frontier Policy.

Prior to the launch of this school, Kanagawa Prefectural Government and HGPI will jointly convene an evening seminar for the prospective students, mainly targeting working professionals, on Thursday, March 16, 2017. This seminar will aim to communicate the overview of the MIS and showcase expected career paths for prospective graduates. Furthermore, discussions during the seminar will contribute to the enrichment of the concepts and design of the MIS programs.

Please register online by Thursday, March 9, 2017. Please find below program for details. We look forward to welcoming you to the meeting.

■Objectives:
To introduce the concept of the MIS program and expected career paths for prospective graduates, through lectures and a panel discussion session featuring young professionals and MPH holders from academia, NPOs etc. This will give you an idea of how the MIS can provide you with opportunities for a career change or further progression in your career.
