Yasuharu Tokuda

Dr. Yasuharu Tokuda was born in Okinawa Prefecture. He graduated from the University of the Ryukyus in 1988 and trained at the Okinawa Chubu Central Hospital, where he served in the Department of General Internal Medicine. He also served at St. Luke’s International Hospital’s General Internal Medicine Department, as a professor at the University of Tsukuba General Department of Medical Care Mito Clinical Education and Training Center, and as a counselor to Japan Community Health care Organization. He is currently director of the Muribushi Project for Okinawa Residency Programs. He specializes in general medicine, clinical epidemiology, and clinical education. He is also the vice president of Choosing Wisely Japan.
